Who doesn’t like to sleep? We all do, don’t we? Well sleeping is one of the most important things we do every day that keeps us going. Getting the right amount and good quality of sleep has many health benefits. On the other hand, not getting enough sleep can cause problems. Here are some kick-ass benefits of sleeping naked.
1. Helps cure insomnia
According to a recent Australian study, if you sleep without clothes on, the body temperature drops to exactly what is required to get a good sleep.
2. Helps keep weight in check
When you sleep naked your body temperature drops down and you get a deep sleep and your cortisol level decrease. Cortisol is a steroid hormone that is produced from cholesterol and generally plays a role in your weight. When you don’t get a sound sleep, you will wake up with high cortisol, increasing your cravings for food high in carbs and coand giving you the habbit of stuffing yourself, says science.
3. Good for your privates
The vagina is naturally a warm and moist place and if not taken care of properly it is easy to develop infections there. When you sleep naked you basically allow that area to breathe free helping to prevent the growth of yeast and bacteria.
4. Slows ageing
If you sleep with clothes on it prevents the pores from breathing free. A study published in the journal “Sleep” says that sleeping helps trigger the growth of hormones like melatonin which slow downs the process of ageing. So the more you sleep, more your body release these hormones, and if you sleep naked you tend to sleep deep, better and young.
5. Better blood flow
The elastic in your pajamas or maybe those tight socks or fitted t-shirts can stop the blood circulation in your body. If you sleep naked your blood can freely flow through the body and the increased circulation can help keep your heart healthy.
